On behalf of the United States, Secretary of State Marco Rubio congratulated the people of Moldova on the 35th anniversary of their independence, reaffirming U.S. support for Moldovan sovereignty.
Over the past year the two countries have expanded economic ties, strengthened border security, and worked together to promote regional stability.
